Zanzibar Maisha Bora Foundation (ZMBF)
In July 2021, the First Lady of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar (RGoZ), Her Excellency Mariam Mwinyi spearheaded the establishment of the Zanzibar Maisha Bora Foundation (ZMBF) to contribute to “the national efforts of boosting economic development, health and wellbeing of Zanzibaris, particularly women, children, and young people”. WazoHub works with ZMBF as a digital transformation partner to ensure in all its initiatives ZMBF is (i) managing data as a strategic asset, (ii) empowered to make data-driven decisions, (iii) always relying on digital solutions in connecting operations teams, service providers, and beneficiaries; and (iv) building a learning and sustainable ecosystem.

HISP Tanzania
HISP Tanzania is a member of the global Health Information Systems Programme (HISP) network. HISP Tanzania has spearheaded implementation of innovative digital solutions in the health sector in countries including Tanzania, Lesotho, Kenya, Somalia, Botswana, Swaziland, and Norway. WazoHub Technologies works with HISP Tanzania in implementation of components of its digital solutions that require integration with commercial entities including but not limited to mobile network operators for USSD, payments, and SMS solutions, as well as banks. PACT Tanzania
In partnership with HISP Tanzania, we developed a USSD-based data collection app for capturing monthly service delivery data for the USAID-Funded Kizazi Kipya Project.
JAMII Insurance
In collaboration with Vodacom Tanzania, we developed mobile and USSD applications for micro-health insurance clients’ registration and service delivery verification.
The USSD app was integrated into Vodacom’s M-Pesa menu.
The applications had a client interface (for purchasing insurance) and a health facility interface (for registering services and verifying insurance status)
Social Action Trust Fund (SATF)
We developed a mobile application for the management of beneficiaries’ enrolment and service delivery data.
The mobile application was integrated with the DHIS2 platform as the data repository and tools for analytics and data visualization
